Meet Dr Kayla Brooke, PhD
Hello, I’m Dr. Kayla Brooke, a registered psychologist with a PhD in cognitive psychology. I have a strong interest in cognitive health, neurodevelopment, and psychological assessment across the lifespan, particularly in providing mental health services.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, offering evidence-based assessments for neurodevelopmental and academic conditions, including autism assessment, ADHD assessment, and various intellectual and learning disabilities. My focus on neurodivergence support ensures that each individual receives the attention they deserve.
My assessment approach is thorough, collaborative, and strengths-based, combining gold-standard psychometric testing with clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and insights from families, schools, and healthcare providers. At Verus Psychology, I place a strong emphasis on delivering clear, practical reports that support accurate diagnosis and provide recommendations that are meaningful, actionable, and genuinely useful.
